"Hello and welcome. I am Dr. Sunitha Kattimani, and my journey in education has been fueled by a lifelong passion for teaching. Growing up in Shivamogga, I was always that studious student in class who looked up to my teachers and dreamed of one day following in their footsteps. That passion drove me to immerse myself entirely in academics, eventually earning my M.Com, MBA, PGDHM, M.Phil, and Ph.D. In 2025, I was given the incredible opportunity to step into the role of Principal here at S C Uppin Degree College, Vijayapura. It is a privilege to lead an institution that aligns so closely with my belief in the transformative power of education. My goal is to blend my background in commerce, management, and research to create an environment where our students don't just graduate, but truly thrive and lead.
